Our Goal
Our goal at Down Under Barbell is to create a place that people can come and push themselves out of their comfort zones and try something new.
We are wanting a community of people that help build each other up and push each other through their workouts and while having fun.
Already we have had new friendships formed and this is what keeps people going!
Strength Training
We are wanting to teach people how great strength training can be physically and mentally and how you don’t need to be scared to pick up some weights.
Using fundamental barbell movements, centered around the big three (Squat, Bench and Deadlift) as well as strongman style training to facilitate weight loss, muscle and strength gain.
Weight loss Training
As much as our focus is around strength training, we also teach a variety of different style high intensity sessions.
Boxing
Boot camps/HIIT sessions, which consist of:
Circuit Style (45 on, 15 rest)
Tabata (20 on, 10 rest)
7 Minute Rounds
E.M.O.M (Every minute on the minute)
1000 rep challenges

Small group training (High rep, mix of weights and cardio)
